Before meeting my husband on September 14, 2014 I decided I was going to write a letter to the universe for what I wanted in a husband.  I knew with the strongest conviction that he was out there also waiting for me. 2 years later I met my husband and he was that and so much more! This was at the NY Emmys. This picture holds a big significance in my life because this was a clear example of something I manifested. I had been setting up my vision board and I placed a picture of an Emmy Statue.. thinking it would be years before I could even be nominated for one. The day after my producer called me and asked me if I had put in my submission for consideration for Best TV Host. I was in shock, just the day before I had placed it on my Vision board. A few weeks later I received the news that I was Nominated!

I don’t come from a rich family. Both of my parents are immigrants from The Dominican Republic and Greece. I come from a family where money was always an issue. I grew up hearing money doesn’t come from trees. We never had enough money and even though my father worked 15 hour days to support our family we still lived paycheck to paycheck. At some point I even lived in a 1 bedroom apartment with my mom, dad,  and sister, where we all shared a room.

This is what my bank account used to look like. What I didn’t realize then was that I had to go within to let go of limiting beliefs and make space for the abundance this universe has to offer. I had to heal so I could finally realize my worth, so I could see I deserve everything in this world.

I had to go thru years of seeking, traveling to places like India and Peru spending weeks at a time at ashrams and temples. Learning from different gurus, masters and shamans to see what was hidden in my subconscious mind.
