DAY 1 of 30 DAY LIFE CHANGING MEDITATION
Meditation should be fun and life itself should be taken with a playful sense of humor!
What do you want to get out of this 30 day challenge??? In the world of meditation we call this SETTING OUR INTENTION! But Evi what is an intention? It is literally anything you want to bring forth in life… whether it be a new job, car, relationship, health, wealth, state of mind or emotion! It does not matter WRITE IT DOWN!
WRITE WHAT YOU WANT:
YOU MUST REMEMBER WHAT YOU ARE THANKFUL FOR:
Many times we are asking for all these things and forget to be thankful for everything we already have. Maybe you're comparing yourself to your rich friend and forget all the blessings you already have. You woke up today, you’re breathing, you can read what I’m writing… there you go WRITE IT DOWN! Write down all the things you are grateful for! Even if you have a shitty (in your opinion) job, people, or situations that are in your life… write it DOWN and in this exercise try to find something positive about that person or situation. For example you're in a bad job you want to leave to do something you love. Give thanks to that job for providing for you and your family at this moment and GIVE THANKS FOR WHAT IS TO COME!!!!
WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR:
15 Minute Meditation:
5 minutes visualize how your day will go. Visualize everything your morning routine, your commute to work, the people in your life, how great your workout went, how delicious your food was. VISUALIZE it all!
5 minutes I know this might be a little difficult for some but try laughing for 5 whole minutes. If you live with someone this might be a little hard and I will give you another option. But the reason why I love laughing meditation so much is because laughter puts you in a very positive mood and sets your day in a light tone!
If laughter is not an option.. which I hope during the 30 days it is. Try putting on your headphones and playing some instrumental music and get up and dance to the rhythm. You don't have to make any sexy moves or anything like that… just let your body sway side to side and go with the flow.
LAST 5 Minutes
Sit and follow your breathe! Just breath in and out and focus on your breath. Yes thoughts will come but as soon as they come they will go. Don’t give too much focus on them. If you find your mind wandering go back to focusing on your breath!
DAY 1 is Complete! If you want to repeat this exercise later at night you can.. or you can extend each exercise to 10 minutes each making this a 30 minute meditation!
Lots of Love,
